1.
Mental Health Counseling
Using cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical therapy seamlessly interwoven in conversation, we will explore your struggles past and present. Instilling hope and an "i can" attitude, each session will end with a goal for the week.
3.
Addiction Therapy
Addiction therapy is about learning new habits and how to survive triggers and cravings. When an addiction is stopped, all these emotions present themselves and are intense! We will deal with how to regulate these seemingly new emotions and begin a life of sober stability.
My Approach
I’ve been successfully coaching clients throughout Colorado and facilitating their self-growth. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, my services aim to introduce clarity and self-motivation. I also teach techniques to better manage the emotional stress of everyday life. I create an environment for comfortable self-disclosure to promote insight into unhealthy patterns and thoughts. Once insight is gained, all efforts go into creating or strengthening healthy patterns for a better lifestyle.
About me
I live in Grand Junction, Colorado where I see mountains in every direction. I love to hike in the Spring and Fall. I live with my two cats, Dean and Bonus, and am close to my family. I have chronic back pain so after hiking I must rest. During those times, I knit and felt flowers, sew, do cryptograms, decoupage, read, walk with and hang out with friends, and cook great food!
